Introduction to Human Software

Saturday 18th October, 2pm

Presented by: David Stanton, engineer and health problem solver.

One model to help us understand humans and our behaviour is to consider us as a machine. Like most modern machines we are made up of hardware and software. The hardware is based on our DNA + our environment i.e. our biochemical system. The software is all the programming, which within the constraints of the hardware, makes us what we are.

By exploring how the ‘software’ is programmed we get to understand why we do/feel what we do. This leads to the exciting understanding that any programming can be re-programmed. Hence we can remove ‘obstacles’ from our lives and achieve our ambitions.

This presentation will be a follow-on from David’s stimulating presentation in April on “Treat the cause, not just the symptom”.

A healthy afternoon tea is provided.
