Through his two inspirational books, guest appearances and personalised coaching programmes, he has helped people across the world tap into their body’s innate healing power and restore their health. Wednesday 23 October at 10am SYD time, Dr Esselstyn A conversation with Dr Esselstyn Dr Esselstyn is a surgeon, researcher and plant-based diet advocate. His scientific publications number over 150, his 1995 study on the effects of nutrition on arresting and reversing coronary artery disease in severely ill patients was groundbreaking. That study led to the publication of his New York Times bestselling book, Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. ‘The Esselstyn Heart Disease Program’ at Cleveland Clinic is based on his research. For the past ten years at Cleveland Clinic, over 1,000 patients have participated in Dr. Esselstyn’s program. Tuesday, October 29 at 7.30pm SYD time, Professor Tim Roberts ‘The role of High Demand Amino Acids (HDAA) in health and exercise’ Tim Roberts is an acknowledged expert in the area of chronic pain and fatigue and autism. His group has made significant progress leading to the understanding that these conditions have a common underlying biochemical pathology which relates to the metabolism of the sufferer being in a chronic catabolic state. These findings have reoriented the field to now focus on chronic infection as the primary underlying cause of chronic pain and fatigue.
Tuesday November 5 at 7.30pm ‘CoEnzyme Q10’ Russell Setright Russell Setright is a Naturopath, Medical Herbalist, Sports remedial therapist, Nutritionist and educator. Russell is the author of seven books on complementary medicine. He currently has a Health Talk-Back Radio Show on 2GB, 4BC, 2DU and other Country NSW. Russell was the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Health Sciences. Russell is also the past Dean of Naturopathic Medicine and Fellow at the Academy of Natural Therapies. Over the years, Russell has widely presented and advised on complementary therapies including at the University of NSW, Royal Women’s Hospital, Natural Therapies Unit NSW and as the Naturopathic Director Blackmores Ltd.
Tuesday November 12 at 7.30pm ‘High quality of life through Natural Health’ – with Roger French’ At the end of our series, Natural Health Society Patron Roger French will talk us through the fundamentals of health. After five decades of researching health, Roger will share his wisdom on what he views as the fundamentals of health and what we should be prioritising in our daily lives. Roger’s sensible and sustainable approach to living well as we age will surely hold lessons for us all.
