Description:
A mouth-watering dessert that’s sure to be a hit with the family, whether served hot or cold.
Ingredients:
- Cooking apples: 4
- Eggs: 2
- Cloves or grated lemon rind: 1 or 2
- Ground almonds: 100g
- 1 tspn cinnamon
Procedure :
Preheat oven to 1800C.
Cook apples with cinnamon and cloves or rind. Place in greased ovenproof dish. Beat eggs; add half the ground almonds and mix, then remaining almonds. Beat until smooth. Spread onto apple.
Bake until set, approx. 15-20 minutes.
