Recipe from Spring 2018 issue of True Natural Health


Serves 1                                                                                 

1 small carrot

½ cup shredded green cabbage

½ cup shredded red cabbage

½ small capsicum, sliced thinly

½ cup bean sprouts

2 green onions, sliced thinly

¼ cup loosely packed fresh coriander leaves


Use vegetable peeler to slice carrot into ribbons. Place in bowl with other ingredients and toss gently to combine.

Lime and Garlic Dressing

¼ cup fresh lime juice

1 clove garlic, crushed

Place in screw-top jar and shake well.

Pour over salad ingredients before serving
