Serves 6


12 dates, pitted

¼ cup cocoa powder

1 cup blanched almonds

1 cup walnuts

1 tsp vanilla extract

45g dark chocolate melts

½ capful of rum (optional)

½ cup shredded coconut



Using high powered food processor, combine all ingredients except for coconut. Blitz to thick paste.

Roll about a tablespoon of mixture into ball and repeat until all mixture used.

Roll each ball in coconut to coat.

Place in fridge for 20 minutes to set.
