Our 2024 retreat was a lovely success, so we are keen to go again!

We will have time to explore the outdoor activities as well as have some excellent speakers on Natural Health. If you feel like spending some time with other people who prioritise health, then this is a great chance to get away and be reinvigorated in your health journey.

Natural Health Society volunteers will lead the wholefood vegan catering for the weekend, attendees will be asked to help with getting meals together. These wholefood prep sessions are another good chance to learn and socialise.
The accommodation is at a ski lodge, and the rooms are shared and simple. Please note that some of the beds are bunk style, and due to the nature of the accommodation we are unable to guarantee specific room allocations. We will try to allot couples to their own room, and place friend groups together. Please make a note of this request at checkout and we will do our best. If you are booking for more than one person, could you please provide their name in the comment section at checkout.

There are great communal spaces to gather in for us to eat, learn and socialise together.

Here’s what some of our 2024 weekend away attendees had to say about the weekend.

“I really enjoyed myself. There were beautiful people and great food.  Wonderful company.”

“Thanks for a great weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it & hope to do it again next year.”

“I had a great time, I’ve never gone to a weekend like this by myself before.  I’m so glad I did. I enjoyed helping prepare the beautiful healthy fresh food we were served all weekend.”

“The talks were excellent. So inspiring. I reorganised my kitchen into a wholefood kitchen when we got home.”

Helpful to know:

Thredbo is part of the Kosciusko National Park and there is a national park fee to enter. At the time of writing, this charge is $17/ per vehicle per day. Further information, including up-to-date pricing is available here: Thredbo-Perisher area | Visitor info | NSW National Parks

The food served will be whole food plantbased. We will be providing three meals each day. If you are used to snacking during the day, you might like to bring some snacks for yourself. We will be providing herbal teas for those who want them. Our weekend away is run by volunteer’s committed to encouraging people to live a healthy and happy life. Meal preparation will be relatively simple but we will be asking everyone to participate in getting the meals on the table and cleaning up afterwards. That will be one of the many opportunities for socialising and learning. Please make note of any allergies in the comments section when booking. Our volunteers will do their best to avoid allergens in meal planning and preparation, however some circumstances will be out their control. Ie. We will not know if a group that has used the accommodation kitchen before our weekend has used peanuts etc.

Activities undertaken during the weekend are done so at your own risk and it is expected that people personally assess their suitability and take responsibility for the activity and bring their own appropriate equipment (ie. Good walking shoes, water bottle, clothing for change in weather…)

There are options for various outdoor activities, particularly bushwalking, and the walks range from relatively short and flat to longer and more hilly.

Those interested and able can join in morning stretching/yoga sessions and more.
